Why Would Anyone Want a Combined Pool / Ping Pong / Dining Table?

1. It's a space saver!

For those who want to have it all without taking up every square foot in their home with three large tables, this is an amazing solution.

2. Versatile

This simple conversion top allows a single table to serve multiple purposes. This is especially great for families / spaces that appreciate playing more than just pool.

3. Money Saving

Buying a pool, ping pong, and dining table (especially handmade ones like the gaming tables on our website) can get very costly very quickly. A conversion top might initially seem like a big investment, but it's cheaper than buying every product on its own.

Are There Any Drawbacks?

1. Storing the Top + Kit

For some people, they may not have enough space to store the conversion top when not in use. Additionally, some may see it as an eyesore. Psst, this is why we made our conversion top caddy on rolling castors

2. Setup

Some may prefer to have ready-to-go tables that don't require any sort of set up, or maybe would like the option of playing both games simultaneously.

3. Cost

If you don't want all 3 tables, then the converstion top is an extra cost.

Things to Consider

1. Space!

Although the conversion top is space saving, you still need somewhere to keep it while not in use. The table itself is typically around 9' x 5'. Check to see if the conversion top you've been eyeing comes as one or two pieces.

2. Materials

Common materials include hardwood, veneered plywood, or glass. They are all great options - choose which one works best for you!

3. Seating

If you're looking to add a conversion top to your pool table, be sure to check out how many can fit around the table when used as a dining table. Pool tables with very large legs may not make the best dining table. Another thing to consider is the height of your chairs - because pool tables are not standard dining tables, you may need to consider a lower profile chair that can slide under the table.
